Our service and the evaluation are always free of charge – if defects are discovered and no purchase takes place, there are still no costs. With a successful scooter purchase, the costs for deregistration are also waived, as we take care of the deregistration.
No. Delivery is always non-binding and prior sale is free. You decide yourself whether and to whom you want to sell your scooter. After the on-site valuation, you can choose between the sales options direct sale to a dealer and private sale or search for new buyers.
Entering the data is the first step and only takes a few minutes. Within a very short time, up to three offers follow from dealers in the vicinity who would like to buy the scooter. The dealers quote a purchase price in advance based on the information provided. Before a personal appointment, you should agree with the dealer that the scooter could be sold at the price quoted, provided that no other defects are apparent. The personal appointment follows, which rarely lasts longer than 30 minutes and ideally leads to the desired result: You can sell your scooter. An expert checks the scooter on site – if everything fits, it can be sold directly. You will receive the purchase price within a few days and we will deregister the scooter free of charge.
Get the scooter in shape! Hand over the bucket and wipe, scrub and polish for all it’s worth. First impressions count!
Check that the electronics are working and that the tyres are inflated correctly. You can repair minor damage to the paintwork or have the dealer do it – but never hide it. If the scooter has been involved in an accident, you must point this out without being asked to do so.
If you want to sell your scooter, you should be especially careful when giving it to potential buyers for a test drive. If the potential buyer goes on a test drive and does not return, the seller comes away empty-handed. The insurance company is not liable for the damage, as the seller has handed over “control of the property” of the vehicle and so it is insured theft but uninsured misappropriation. If the test drive as a passenger is too delicate for you, you would be advised to have the purchase price of the scooter deposited by the buyer as collateral. These are just a few of the risks – We buy your motorbike solves these problems with certified dealers. We buy scooters from the vehicle owner, no matter whether it is a scooter, moped (automatic / petrol) moped or dealer.
